I need to not abandon stuff. Like the blog. And my DA account. And all that good stuff.
But yeah.
I vlog now, more than I blog. Though, I do kinda miss blogging. Typing random crap to amuse myself was kinda fun.
But still.
If you're at all interested in the crap I do then there are vlogs over at;
http://www.youtube.com/lucidemonica
including one with snow, some with dancing, many with dinosaurs and two with me embarrassing myself reading some old fanfics I found. Also 30 from november.
Soooo yeah. I don't really have anything else to say other than;
watch YuGiOh Abridged
I have an i-pod
I need to get better at painting
I have over a hundred drawings I want/need to do
I've still got c/w to do
I need to actually practise for my clarinet exam in easter or I'll fail
I have waaaaaay too many plastic cows for it to be normal. No seriously, over 20. That's....just not right
I need to update fanfics or people will murder me
I have two novels to edit and a dozen more I want to write
ITS NEARLY FECKING CHRISTMAS OMGOMGOMGOMG
yeeaaaahhh
So basically, if you want to see and hear the same sort of stuff that used to wind up typed sporadically here, go subscribe to my youtube account and get sporadic video updates! With dinosaurs in them!
Victor the velociraptor is my official mascot. Don't ask. Really.
Feels weird blogging again.
:3
Dr Suess I am not. Nor am I Yoda. I am a girl-thing and I like stripy socks. I want to be a graverobber.

fuck
'Down feeling down falling down sinking furhter down
misery circles around
wane feel the pain gone insane and this life's to blame
seems like its all in vain
dark the past was dark the present's dark the future seems so dark'
'and i keep falling further down'
'seems like i'm falling deeper
deeper inside myself'
'these feelings inside me
keep bringing me further and further down
been lost for so long cant find my way home
i dont even know where i belong'
'ive faced all the ages all alone all by myself
never ending is the treason in every night
and every day
the circle drives me insane'

why the hell do i even bother. hardly anyone else seems to. why do i have to keep churning out good things even at the last minute when everyone elses writes crap and doesnt care.
why do i fucking care? none of its important anyway
cant you just see the looks if i give up?

Velociraptors are cool
That has nothing to do with anything.
Meh. It's half term! Starting next week! I have to go in on Monday for History and on Thursday for ICT! Huzzah!
In other news, videos from my birthday are up on youtube now.
My account: http://www.youtube.com/user/lucidemonica
I'm supposedly going to be doing a vlog every day in NaNo as well as writing a serious novel and a silly one for writers block. And continuing with school work, homework, revision, coursework etc.
I should seriously stop trying to do so much at once. Seriously.
Weeeell anyway, today sucked after school. I was meant to have netball and was already resigned to being the only year 11 there (the others weren't coming and Megan's in Ireland). But then I'd been there for over a quarter of an hour and no one else had showed up so I went to get changed back and go home. Then miss shows up and goes 'oh sorry, there's no netball, I told the year tens and all the year nines are in Spain.' Yeah. Thanks for letting the year elevens know. Just because there are hardly any of us that go....it would've been nice to know. So then I had to cycle home on my own.
But I'm not that angry any more. I can't really be when I'm excited for NaNo, have MCR playing and Victor the cuddly Velociraptor toy sitting on my desk looking at me all cutely.
So yeah.
See ya.
(I haven't died I promise, I'm still a blogging person. I just take long unexplained absences because when I announce I'm going to do something I usually wind up not doing it. fail)

NaNo!
So. I have got what I want to write for NaNo and I am pretty excited about it. Though, there is always the chance that I'll be slammed face first into November with a new idea and spend a month writing that and then go 'argh! my other idea! nooo!'
Anyhow, it seems that although I picked mostly-steampunk as my genre before logging into the NaNo forums for this year, a fair number of fellow NaNo-ers are also doing steampunk. Creepy.
Anyhow, the story was essentially inspired by spam mail. All the names of the MCs are from spam mail. Win.
The story is in first person and written in a fairly....high class? way. The MC is a high class lady but she does have a sense of humour, more so than most. Although the novel is set in the future, the world is powered by steam. Huzzah! I may or may not have to come up with an explanation for that.
The main character - Catina Edgar - is drawn into the world of vampire hunting (and the hunting of other creatures of the night - when on her wedding night her new husband suddenly begins to shed his skin and attack her! She is saved by the vampire hunter, Henrietta Conte and thus begins the story. Catina's maid is also drawn in and she will become a subplot if I have my way and remember to put her in properly.
The title for the moment is The Cradle of Salvation - named after a line in a Draconian song that I was listening to on my paper round. In the idea I have, Henrietta is looking for the Cradle (for reasons that shall remain a secret). I may make the Cradle be a person not an object, but I'm not sure whether that's cliche or not. A lot of stories have a person be the thing someones looking for (coughcoughHeroescoughcough).
Anyway, I'm pretty excited.
Also because there is a second story I'll have on the go at the same time. It isn't a serious one and I don't intend to finish it. It's the sort of light hearted, plotless thing to relieve writers block. Inspired by our RP sessions, it's about a narrator trying to take a band of heroes to stop the Dark Lord. But they don't really want to cooperate, if you catch my drift.
Heh, it'll be good for writing amusing dialogue and keeping me occupied.
See ya later

Yay!
So. It's my birthday. According to...well, when I was born, I've been sixteen for an hour and 35 minutes. Clue; it's 12;35, work out when I was born. Lol, maths for you guys on a Sunday. It's my birthday, I'll do what I like.
I'm getting presents from the family at lunch, though I got one present early.
-drumroll-
VIDEO CAMERA. HELL YES. It is red and shiny and awesome and matches my camera. I'm such a nerd.
I'm going bowling and pizza eating with the guys from 4pm onwards, so, more on that later I guess. Going for dinner now, will finish post afterwards...
xxx
back. and has presents now, wooo.
In summary:
Brother: Chocolates
Sister: Awesome elf on horseback with a dragon on her arm model (from this collection of really cool plastic elves. trust me, they rock, I already have one of them)
Grandma: £20 and a book on weird 'unanswerable' type question.
Parents: (asides from the video camera) Guitar Hero Decades, booklight, 8gb memory card and a dragon crossstich picture thing that my mums been doing since before we went to wales.
Various Relatives: MONEHSSSSSSS
lots&lots of monehs. So...very....rich.
Anyhow, what else? Oh yah, I was gonna tell you our bowling names.
ahem
Me: Watson
Alex: Batman
Megan: Holmes
Simon: Cpt Camp
Adam: Groinage
Josh: Nobody
Sean: The Freak
Jack: Blackleaf
Connor: Eskimo
AJ: Chaotsu
Ah, I love inside jokes. Except Connors. There's no joke there, he just wanted to be called Eskimo. The Chaotsu thing is from Dragonball Z Abridged. I prolly spelt it wrong but who cares. AJ was either that or Ajmilf. We convinced him that every time he gets a strike he has to pretend to explode.
Who still uses the barriers in bowling? -raises hand- ahhahahah, I'm a noob, but whatever. I'm the eldest noob there and I'm paying so, noone can say anything -evil laugh-
I've given up watching .hack for the time being. It was boring me a little. I'll come back to it later cause I can't not watch an entire anime. In the meantime I'm amusing myself with Minami-ke. There are 3 seasons and an OVA but whatever. It's comedy/slice of life and very funny. Highly reccommended.
I need a red phone now. My video camera and normal camera are red, so I need my phone to be to! I like to match. Bleh.
Hmmhmmhmm, I haven't blogged in aaages.
I can't wait for Halloween or NaNo. Not sure what I'm writing yet but I have been making notes for a bunch of ideas. Yesterday I was bored so I fished around in my ideas file and just started writing a bit for one of the incredibly short story starts I made. I got a couple of pages written I think. Good way to pass the time.
For Halloween, I'm going as Shilo. I only need a ruffled shirt, cameo button, pointier heeled boots and some tights for my arms and I'm done. I have normal tights, a waistcoat, a skirt, blue glowsticks and permission to dye my hair black and straighten it already. Hells yes.
See youg guys later. I'm gonna go hunt down my DS and have a go at Guitar Hero Decades. Let's see how well I do.....prolly gonna warm up on medium to be honest then do most of it on hard. Easy's too, well, easy!
See ya!

warghghghghg
Yo, 'sup?
Basically....stuff.
What's happened? What did I even talk about in my last post? Whatever.
Anyhow, I am now Game Mistress Supreme and somehow have to come up with a Shadowrun plot by Saturday (why do I do this? I have no idea). FunFunFun.
I'm on the netball team now, which is awesome.
My new clarinet teacher seems nice enough.
Work experience is pretty good. I had to not go back after lunch today cause I was ill last nigh (vomit at 2am is so not on my list of Awesome Stuff) and then I was kinda of a little sick at work (in Pat's car, she had to pull over on our way back from the Rowans Children's Centre - and there was me being all anti-maternal and not wanting to work with children. Damn smalls keep invading my work experience)
So, I got most of the day off today. I also got a free DVD of Sweeney Todd, as they were selling a bunch off and Simon said just pick one you want, it's all good.
Lawl.
In other news: Simon has teh boytoy now, I believe his name is Finbar. Simon (not the Simon I work for at the library, Simon my age yadda yadda) worked MSN voodoo on him and now he is no longer straight. WIN.
What else? Not much, except I now have two library books to read (Through Violet Eyes and The Spy Who Haunted Me (Simon Green is amazing. What is it with all these Simon's lately?))
all good fun. Still only on episode 7 of .hack. meh, so not in an anime watching mood. Eventually I'll binge again, most likely during NaNo when I'm meant to be working.
See y'all later.

Usernames
Does anyone else have issues with their usernames for stuff or is it just me?
I get so fed up with my screen names on the internet. I'll make one and then after a while I'll hate it. But with most stuff, like DA, YouTube, forums etc, you can't change it once you have it unless you make a new account. Which is a pain in the rear because you have to re add all your subscriber stuff, some favourites, organise your channel or upload deviations and add all the people on your watchlist again....ugh.
But I don't like a lot of my UN's anymore. I'm never very good at sticking to liking one thing. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But I always want a different username. The problem is that I can't think of better ones. Lucidemonica is all I know. I mean, I use Pandemonium on Everything Dragon but I hardly post on there any more. The only things I use frequently are DA, YouTube and Blogger. And my DA name is the one that I dislike the most. Luciferspet. Blegh. Hate it. But I made it when I was about twelve or thirteen or something.
Now of course I'm older and infinitely cooler ;p
meh. I guess I'll just stick with what I've got. Luci is as much a part of my life as myself. She's practically a second self. She's the front I put up so much online because she's everything I want to be; she's smart, dryly humorous, tough, kickass, stunningly gorgeous in the way that only the Demon-kyn can be. She is to me the epitome of what I could be if I simply pushed myself to the limit. I've never understood why I gave her so many brothers though. And made her the youngest sibling. Maybe it's some unconscious desire to not be the eldest and most relied upon. Meh.
PSYCHOANALYSIS FTW
In the meantime, I need video ideas. Music videos, AMV's, fan trailers, random crap, song-slideshows....anything you want that doesn't require footage of me talking and stuff. Cause my camera mic is fucked. Hopefully I'll get an actual video camera for my birthday. Huzzah!

Hajimemashite. Watashi wa Spicer Sam desu. Yoroshiku onnegai shimasu!
Hooray! I downloaded a podcast for help with my 'noob learning Japanese' task.
Though, according to about.com you don't usually say watashi wa in conversation and on the page about introductions there you say 'douzo yoroshiku' not toroshiku onnnegai shimasu.
But hey. I know what it means and I can say it.
Other words and junk I've learned and remembered in Japanese:
Neko - cat
Kagami - mirror
Kirai - hate
Suki - love
Anata - you
Sayonara - Good bye
Ittekimasu - see you later, said when you leave the house
Konnichiwa - good afternoon
Ohayo/Ohayo gozaimasu - good morning
Ittedakimasu - said before eating/let's eat!
Oishii - delicious
Mama - so so
Kanpai - cheers
Gochisosama - thank you for the fine meal
Sumimasen - excuse me/thank you/I'm sorry/pardon me
Desu - it is/to be/is/are that sort of thing
Baka - idiot, according to anime
Kawaii - cute. well, every anime fangirl knows what kawaii means. In some form or other
So I can introduce myself and eat out in Japan now. Awesome sauce. And call someone an idiot.
I think things are going pretty well. I can write 'desu' in kanji. I should start learning hiragana and katakana now. It's a productive way to procrastinate! Hurrah!

MAX. Also Hitler&MrSmith
So, I finally got to read MAX today. Thanks to Adam, who lent me his copy. He said it got really global-warming-centric but I couldn't really see it. Overall it was pretty good. It didn't annoy me as much as the fourth book did.
And Megan, you should read it anyway, it's not as bad as we thought it would be.
I can't think of anything that annoyed me too much, other than the fact that most of the book was 'save Dr Martinez' and that it ended on a cliffhanger. The bad guy didn't really make that many appearances and it makes me want to read the others again simply for the Eraser-butt-kicking action scenes. I kinda miss the Erasers. M-Geeks just don't have the same....je nais sai quoi. And I totally spelt that wrong ;^^
Anyhow, yeah, much better than I expected. Though, of course, I am slightly dreading the next book (rather cleverly titled; 'Fang') The summary on wikipedia is ominous, and even more annoying considering the amount of relationship progress and faxness in MAX. All I have to say is: JP, if Fang even comes close to dying, I am going to hunt you down and rip out your spine and beat you with it, as Max would so eloquently say. And then beat you with the book.
Yeah.
I am such a fangirl. But Maximum Ride is the only thing I have consistently been a fan of. I think I first read it in year 7, then got back into it in year 8/9 and ever since then I've been obsessed with it. And I'm pretty sure I'm one of the 'good' fans. The ones who squeal like children at the awesome parts but can also accept that some bits are bad. No book is perfect (but try telling THAT to the Twitards) but I love Maximum Ride, imperfections and all. And I think I will always love it, even if Hardwicke the Evil messes up the movie. At least the script writer is decent and they've got that guy who did Spiderman as well. So she can only fuck up one part of the movie.
In other news, I am totally planning to make a 'vampires don't sparkle' logo/slogan for one of my white tank tops and then wear said top and see how many people try to kill me. Maybe I'll go hang out in the teen fiction section at Waterstones on a busy day. Heh.
I think I've become a 'meh' Twilight fan. I like the books cause they're easy to read. They don't require much of my focus. But I do find it tremendous fun to poke all the holes in it and also to poke the diehards. According to the Twilight Sucks forum, (I may have posted this before) someone once got challenged to a freaking DUEL over Twilight. The person who got challenged won, but not before quoting from the Princess Bride, being asked what they were talking about and then saying 'Good literature.' Which I think is pretty much ownage.
Moving away from that touchy subject, I still have coursework to do and I really like listening to mellow music lately. Oh yes, and I've done a bunch of recordings on SingSnap because the nice people there continually upload whole blocks of songs that you don't have to be a subscriber to record, which is nice. I did a cover of 'Yeah' by Usher for kicks. I'm so gangster, yo'
I also want to be a magical girl. It's an unholy and entirely ridiculous desire but hey. It would be freaking awesome. Also there was a tutorial on YouTube about how to make movable dragons wings. I totally want to make a small set just so that I can wear them on non-uniform day. I would cut slits in my shirt and wear the wings under it and come in in my hoodie. Then I could take off my hoodie and lean forwards on the table and just be like 'sup?'
It would be awesome.
Oh yes! Hitler aka Mr Thomas has teamed up with New Guy Who Does Important Stuff And Is Possibly Deputy Head aka Mr Smith have teamed up in a uniform enforcing duo of death. All of us rebellious nerdy Neo's don't stand a chance. They've even started policing the socks we wear, for Isis' sake! How does wearing coloured socks distract you from learning? For Gods sake. I know we have to look smart and junk but what's wrong with a little individuality? I for one am not going to lie down and take it. It's not that bad at the moment but the second Mr Smith becomes aresholey about the tiniest thing I am totally rebelling. I'll happily do the detentions to be honest. I need some time to sit and plot stuff out without distractions.
I'm not saying that I'm going to come to school in jeans and boots, a choker and goth makeup. Heck, I couldn't even make it past the front door like that! I just mean that....well, it's hard for me to put into words the way I view this. I don't mind the uniform so long as the people inside them are allowed to express themselves in some way. I personally think we should be allowed to wear whatever coats we like. But we're not allowed to wear hoodies and stuff. It has to be a 'sensible coat'. Bah. It's a freaking coat. And your bag is meant to be sensible but hardly anyone gives a stuff about that.
I'm totally bringing my Haruhi headband in next week and wearing it. It's a headband to keep my hair tidy so I can learn better. The ribbons enhance my brain power. They'll probably tell me to take it off cause the colour is too bright or some shit like that.
I refuse to be a sheep.
Bleh. They always say some BS about uniform whenever anyone bitches about us having it. Some crap like 'it gives you a sense of pride' 'it makes the school look good'.
Schools aren't meant to be about who has the smartest set of clones with no individuality. It's about giving the best education to the most students. Uniform....I can see their point but it just annoys me. I work just as well in jeans or shorts or skirts or whatever as I do in crappy, unflattering school trousers. Wearing a tie doesn't give me +10 intelligence and having a jumper with a logo doesn't add to my intellect in any way.
It's always like this the first week back. They're really tough on uniform but then after maybe a month they can't be arsed any more. Too much effort to come round all the classrooms to make sure we've got our ties high enough and that we aren't wearing red socks or whatever.
That'll do I think. I've got a nerdfest tomorrow, which should be fun. I think I'm meant to be a vampire character or something. Although I wish I could keep my character the same as she originally was. A sexy badass demon with a penchant for partying and a talent for torture.
I think I'm developing a thing for alliteration.
See ya
Sam
Heh.

No longer in Wales
Hurrah, I'm back from Wales. Two weeks in a bed that was two small in a tiny room with my sister in a caravan that creaks next to other caravan which, when people run up and down in them, also creak and thud and it sounds like they are running up and down in your caravan.
Ahem. So.
I bought lots of new books (as always) but not as many as when I went on the boating holiday and had an entire holdall to bring them back with me. No, I just got two more of the dark tower books (new edition) some fantasy, Dracula, Night of the Triffids, The Historian (which I've been wanting to read for ages) some more Stephen King and some others. Y'know, the usual.
BUT HOLY INSERT DEITY HERE WE WENT TO HAY ON WYE! The sign as you enter proudly tells you that it is the 'town of books'. Thirty bookshops in one town. HELL. YES. We didn't go to them all obviously - we were on our way home so we only stayed for the afternoon. I didn't buy that many books. But I did get a copy of The Raw Shark Texts (a book I read once and absoloutely loved but was too lazy to request from the library again.) I also got my dad to pay for books 4 to 12 of the Darren Shan Saga, so now I have all of those. I'd still love to have all of the new edition ones - they're so spiffy!
What else? Oh yeah, I started buying the collection of The Belgariad (in the old covers) and I got books three and five there (The only ones I needed) Four are in the same edition and only one book is in a different one but the colours still sorta match. In a different coloured but faded way. Yes, I like having sets of books in the same edition, okay? Sue me. The only other book I got there was one called The Accidental Sorceror by K E Mills. It sounded good so I got it. That is my criteria for picking books. Plus the little dedication/note/thing at the front was about Doctor Who so, y'know. I couldn't just leave it.
If I could have I would have gotten so much more but I didn't really want a gajillion books at my feet for two or three hours. The boot was full, heheh.
The holiday was okay I guess. We watched too much Dave, seeing how we only had a few channels and most of it was soaps or news or porn. Yes, porn. I saw at least two channel names that had to be prons and there were two gay text chat things. Lovely.
Anyhow, my brother was the stroppiest child ever. I swear, he is so abusive to my mum all the time. I seriously hope its hormones cause otherwise he's going to get in a lot of trouble. The crazy thing is he goes from being sweet and lovely to being this horrible monster. Usually its because he's been told to turn the TV/Computer/DS off or because he's tired or hungry. But he's eleven. I mat not remember rightly but I don't recall actually trying to fight physically with my mum over something when I was eleven or trying to hit her or stuff. I dunno.
Moving on. We went to the beach LOADS. It was great. My mum bought me and my sister inflatable rings and my brother bought a bodyboard thing. The waves were amazing. What you do is you either jump the waves, which is fun, or you sit in your ring and go up and down which is amazing. Or you get in your ring and float and oh wow.....I never used to like the sea. I did go on my brothers bodyboard but I wasn't any good. Surprisingly my sister was the best and she managed to bodyboard from right out where we were back to shore loads of times.
The waves were rough on occasion though and getting smacking in the back of the head with a wave is not fun. It seriously felt like somebody hit me with a two by four. I so totally didn't keep falling out of my ring and drinking the sea. No way.
We built massive sandcastles but mainly kept digging deep holes for fun. Hurrah!
What else? It only really rained a lot in the second week so that was okay. We went to dan yr rogoff (sp?) caves which was great. It had a dinosaur park, I got a plastic T-rex and a cuddly velociraptor. No more needs to be said. We went to the Shire Horse farm that was a part of it and I now have about four minutes of footage of ducklings.
Where else did we go?
We went to Swansea and I got a new hoodie.
I didn't do much of my art homework.
I have some new ideas burning away, one of which isn't a fantasy, oh my goodness.
I keep saying crikey all the time. Explain that one.
I also have two new shirts and a plain black hoodie.
On the way home we had dinner in a Little Chef and when, at dessert, the man bought me my apple pie and hot chocolate he called it cardiac arrest in a cup, which I found hilarious.
I read about four books and all of my manga whilst I was there, which is a record for a holiday since I usually don't read much at all. I'm part way through Salems Lot now and it's pretty good. It's obvious who the vampire is but I don't know if I'm meant to spot it or not. I probably am.
Oh yeah, when we watched Dave they showed an old episode of Lewis and one of the suspects was that guy who plays Arthur in Merlin. I was like ....o.O.
Oh YEAH. My mum bought three boxes of Mikano (they were together, not seperate, otherwise we would have had one box). For those who don't know, Mikano is thin biscuit sticks covered in chocolate except for the bit at the end. They are delicious. me and my brother ate three boxes in about three days. Yum. Essentially it's Pocky but with a different name. I'm glad I like it. I get expectations about food that I've heard of and never tried. For example; Oreos. I had never eaten them but I kept reading about them in Max Ride fanfics (I am a dork. accept meeeeeeeeeeee). But when I tried them....eugh. Not my thing. My brother and sister love them though, so that's all good.
Moving on, what else happened. Don't remember. Oh yeah, we found a crab when we went rockpooling and caugh some shrimp. And my mum found a dead starfish and my sister bought it home for her art homework. It smells of dead fish. Not nice.
I decided to catch up on my webcomics today. Rita's comic hasn't updated at all. It took forever. Almost three hours I think. That's what you get for following a lot of daily webcomics and then not reading them for over a month.
See ya later.

Just like that feeling you get when you have a new idea
Konnichiwa~!
How are we all?
Good, good. Awesome.
Anyhow, I was planning to watch more Descendants of Darkness today but AnimeCrazy hates me and won't load the page for episode six. Grrr.
Anyhow, I was working some more on my Haruhi headband and it has failed. I think we're giving up with ribbon and just going to go and buy some material, even though it's kinda expensive.
Hopefully I'll be able to finish it before I go to Wales.
Blah, still have coursework to do. Still learning Japanese. I can count to four! Kinda.
ichi, ni, san, yon/shi...uhm....go!, roku, nana/shichi, hachi, kyuu/ku, juu...
I so totally wasn't looking at my notes for five and onwards. Not at all. heheh ;^-^
Ah well. At least I can say good morning two ways, good afternoon, good evening, and about three of four ways to say thank you. And I can introduce myself when I first meet someone:
Hajimemashite. Sam desu. Dozo yoroshiku.
Yay! I can pronounce stuff pretty well I think. So guys, when I come back to school, expect me to say thank you in Japanese. And to say either 'n' or 'hai' instead of yes. And to say ohayo gozaimasu! or ohayo! in the morning. Heheh. But the language is really fun to learn. The kanji are pretty hard to write but I kind of understand how you construct them and how you write sentences. The way the Japanese talk is really interesting.
I think if I can learn Japanese I might learn other languages as well. I mean, I used to be decent at French but then I stopped having lessons once year ten started so I forgot most of it. Maybe I'll learn an easier language next time, like Spanish or Italian. One that's more similar to English. In sentence structure as well as letters (Subject-verb-object is the order for English whereas Japanese is constructed as subject-object-verb)
Yay language! Learning can be fun, who'd have thought.
Also, my mother just now came in with an awesome looking gold headband! She fixed my mess-up on it! Yes! Admittedly there is some tape on the inside to hold parts down but it looks much neater than what I'd managed. All I have to do it attach the ribbons. The only way I can think of is to use double sided tape like I did for the rest of the headband. But my mother did say that if it looks good and I wear it loads then we'll buy material and make a better one.
Yay cosplay!
Though, I wish I'd managed to make it all myself instead of doing what I could, failing and giving up. I give up to easily with a lot of things :3
Ittekimasu!
(Essentially 'see you later/I'll be back/I'm going now' type phrase in Japanese)

Dubs vs Subs (feat. Vampires)
So, I started watching Descendants of Darkness. I watched a little in dub and a little in sub then watched the first three episodes in dub. I think that both of them are pretty good but in both there are voices that annoy me.
-sigh-
It's hard to decide whether to just watch all my anime in subs or to watch what I can in dub. Some dubs are really good - haruhi was good, lucky star, azumanga daioh....but then, like I said in my previous post, Nanoha was really bad. This is an issue because I want to watch anime and I like it in dub and sub. I can get used to the voices for each character pretty quickly. I guess that's the issue for most people. They watch in either dub or sub and then when they watch the other it sounds all wrong because you have the other version set in your mind. This makes it difficult. It wouldn't be a bad thing if I watched shows in both, but I don't have the time to.
The debate I'm having is whether I should just watch everything in subs from now on. I mean, I have to rewatch Haruhi in subs for certain because whoever uploaded the dubs to JustDubs messed up and there were duplicate episodes listed as different episodes and I never got to watch episode 00. I want to rewatch Lucky Star and Hell Girl as well, though, the dub for Hell Girl I thought was really good, especially Enma Ai's voice. The emotionless but slightly sad and almost whispered tone was perfect.
It's probably good for me to watch in subs as I am trying to learn the language and that might be something that would help.
Ah well, I'm going to watch Descendants of Darkness in a mix of dub and sub for a bit. I'll watch 3 eps in sub and then decide. Hisoka's voice is better in the dub, I think.
If I'm really honest, I'm only really watching it for the bishounen and the promise of boylove that was in the manga and is so hinted at in the anime so far. It's like the lesbian undertones in Nanoha, but with guys.
Heh, yeah I'm a little bit of a fangirl.
Speaking of which, even though I haven't watched Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, the teen book section and the poster section of Asda has left me in despair!
There were two twilight posters and a Robert Pattinson poster. Arghghgh. And the top shelf take-the-majority books for teenagers were supernatural romance, one being twilight, one being Darke Academy, one being something about a guardian angel and some others. Uhm, vampire diaries and I think maybe House of Night.
I am the only one who's starting to get annoyed at the amount of supernatural romance around nowadays? And the amount of 'urban supernatural' novels. I like them, sure, but there are so many and they're all so samey! Out of what I've read, I really like Lilith Saintcrow's work. I have only read on of her books but it's really good. And Jenna Black wrote a really good 'urban supernatural' one. You know the type I'm sure. The very dark, sexy, oh-look-a-demon-let's-make-out type books. The ones where bad things are dangerous but sexy. That type.
Supernatural romance....oh, god, the vampire love story has been done to death in my mind. That's why I like the Vampire Chronicles so much. Anne Rice's vampires are sensual, yet they don't - can't - have sex and so they bite people for that feeling. In the books the act of drinking someones blood is essentially described as the closest thing a vamp can get to orgasm. Yum :p
Anyhow, I like the vamps like that. They are DEAD and DEAD things can't get it up. They're either completely stiff ALL OVER, ALL the TIME or they can't. And you know, Miss Swan, you could be counted as a necrophiliac.
I don't much approve of the 'let's go find a hot DEAD guy and make out' mindset. Demons, yes. They are living. Not our type of living, but they're alive. Werewolves - also alive. Bishounen Shinigami....can gods of death be counted as alive? At any rate, the ones in Descendants of Darkness are human enough to bleed and probably die, so I would count them as living. They become Gods of Death by dying, but, so long as it's Shinigami to Shinigami boylove, I'm not too bothered.
The moral of this post is, I think;
Subs are usually better than dubs, but dubs can be awesome. Watch anime in half and half.
Also:
DONT HAVE SEX WITH VAMPIRES.
-sigh-
It's hard to decide whether to just watch all my anime in subs or to watch what I can in dub.
Yum :p

Don't watch Nanoha in English. It sucks.
Konbanwa!
That's 'Good evening' in Japanese, written in Romaji cause I have no idea how to type kanji on my keyboard, I don't think it's possible.
Anyways, I finished watched Nanoha StrikerS today. So. Freaking. Awesome. Nanoha was a great series - not your typical magical girl anime, though I haven't really watched any other magical girl anime shows. It's amazing. There are lesbian under/over/obvious tones, which is cool. In the first and second series you get to watch nine year olds kick the ever loving crap out of each other. Hint; Nanoha always 'befriends' the enemy....with a Divine Buster. Aside from the endings of every series being the same :
blow something big up
Befriend the enemy
unleash a deus ex machina over the cast.
it's still really good. It's got good character development, proof that yelling does indeed make you stronger, some really awesome scenes and character designs. Just don't watch it in English dub. I was setting up to watch Descendants of Darkness on JustDubs (I'm going to watch in sub as well, to compare. There're only 13 episodes) and I decided to see what was new.
'Oh wow, they have the first season of Nanoha up! I didn't know it was in dub. Let's check this out.'
-loads up episode one-
-voice starts talking-
'.....HOLY CRAP! That's NANOHA!??? No freaking way.'
-skips forwards-
'Arisa and Suzuka sound ok, I guess'
-skips to hear Yuuno-kun-
'RAAAAAAGE!!!'
Nanoha and Yuuno's voices are just way too high. No...just...no. I didn't even want to know how they made Fate sound.
Lesson; sometimes Japanese is better. If you're going to watch Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, watch in subbed form. Anything else is fail. Besides, there are all 3 seasons subbed on YouTube and they're easy to find.
I'm partway done with my Haruhi headband. Somehow my mother has done most of it. I don't entirely know how me asking which glue I should use morphed into her glueing it. It should be done by tomorrow.
I'll start on Descendants of Darkness tomorrow as well. I should be able to finish watching at least the dub before the end of the week. Since it's only 13 episodes it should only take a day or two at the most, even if I do other stuff.

I can get a job! Kinda!
Guess what you guys? I officially exist.
Lawl, yeah.
I have my National Insurance number/card now, which means as soon as I'm sixteen and when I'm done with compulsory school then I can have an actual job. And I can work part time now if I want.
Woooo!
Anyhow, I have been shopping twice this past week and spent £30. I think that's pretty good, considering I now have 4 new mangas, about 7 new books and some other stuff. I also got my mum to buy me some new acrylics (in big tubes!) a new sketchbook, some new shirts and a new swimsuit.
I think that's about it. Hooray for Primark. My sister took advantage and has practically a whole new summer wardrobe now. I just get the minimum stuff I need and spend my money on other things.
Oh yeah! Since the Haruhi headband I wanted is out of stock anywhere where is costs less than ten dollars, I'm making one instead. Yup, I'm being cool and doing that. So I have a headband and some ribbon to cover it with. I would have gotten fabric to cover it with, but we couldn't find any the right colour. Well, not in small enough quantities or in a price we wanted to pay for just making a headband. So I'll hopefully get that made and have photo's either today or tomorrow.
I'm almost done with Nanoha now. I'm on about episode 10 of StrikerS, which is the last season. It's twice as long as the other seasons - 26 eps. Which is about the average length for an anime usually. So I'll probably finish watching it before I go on holiday - next Saturday I think. Two weeks in a caravan in Wales with my family. Oh, joy.
Anyhow, I think that's about it. Other than The Order of the Blue Rose being done and brewing away before I edit it. I have ideas for a sequel for it, at least two ideas for what I want to write for NaNo, the idea for a horror story, and the beginnings of an idea for a vampire story. I'm actually not that sure about writing vampire stories any more, seeing how if I do, most people will assume I'm hitching a ride on the Twilight bandwagon.
Vampires are becoming overused now. I mean, they used to be suave and badass or just plain monstrous (Nosferatu are cool). Now a lot of people just think of them as immortal sex objects. That's what most annoys me about 'vampire fans'. Just because you've read Twilight doesn't mean you're an edgy person who likes the dark side of life. No. Just...no.
Let's not start a fight with the rabid horde of fangirls. Though, I'm planning on printing designs onto the two white vest shirts I got and it is so tempting to do one of these:
TEAM Lestat.
Vampires DON'T sparkle (and possibly on the back: They explode)
I think I might get lynched for the second one.
One tshirt I'm definitely putting the MR logo (The M and the R and adding little wings to them.) and then putting wings on the back, probably in Max's colouration.
I'm finally learning Japanese. The language is easy - the kanji/katakana/hiragana are hard. There are only 46 katakana and 46 hiragana so I'm probably going to learn those first. There are something like 2000 kanji and Japanese is written with a combination of all three.
This may take a while. But I'm getting there, and it's really interesting so I think I'll stick with it. Once I've learned it it'll be awesome.
I can almost do Hare Hare Yukai from memory. There's just a few arm movements in the middle and at the start that I can't do/remember. Other than that it's perfect! Once I've learned the dance I might try and learn at least the short version of the song that goes with it.
Then it's on to Motekke Sailor Fuku and all hell will break loose :3
See ya

Almost...done...need...sleep.
:3
Love that smiley too much.
Thinking about becoming part of the cosplay scene.
Badly want cat ears and a Haruhi headband.
Almost done with JulNo.
The novel will have the oppurtunity for a sequel. I have vague ideas. May write it in NaNo if I don't have any other plans.
Pretty sure I could get away with a Kyonko cosplay. Google it. It's the genderbended form of Kyon from the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya.
Want to sleep. Should be sleeping, not blogging. Ceasing to care at this point.
Addicted to Mafia Wars and Dragon Wars on Facebook. This is not a good thing.
Trying to learn the Lucky Star 'Sailor Fuku' cheeleading dance.
Also learning Hare Hare Yukai.
Cause they're fun.
Still sorting out some room stuff. Sax and clarinet within grabbing distance now. Is quite nice.
Getting more and more used to the tablet.
And liking typing like this.
Only got to do 800 words tomorrow. It won't be done by then. But the challenge will be complete.
Still watching Nanoha A's. Maybe finish that up tomorrow. Goddammit StrikerS is 26 eps. Grr.
Found out that someone was planning a Hell Girl abridged but so far has only a trailer. They did ask for people to offer to do parts.
If theirs doesn't appear I may do it. Could be fun. Would need to DL audacity for the third time.
Also want to write some animeMaxRide Xovers. TMoHS. Hell Girl. Angelic Layer. Have them kinda planned out.
Want to do a oneshot or a scene in CRC where Max gets Ella, Iggy, Nudge and Fang to learn Hare Hare Yukai with her. Must...make...whole flock....do....Lucky Star dance.
ALSO want to draw a genderbender Graverobber. For the lulz. Who thinks it would be awesome? I do.
Want to draw Repo! me. And Magical Girl me. And stuff. There's a new deviation up if you're interested. Colour and everything.
Mucho jealous of Mercuralis. she is goddess of digital painting. rawr.
I shall sleep now and stop talking like this.
anime is good for you.
My foot is getting pins and needles. this will hurt a bit.
want to cosplay so bad. it's not even funny.
maybe there will be anime&manga&cosplay shops in Wales.
Don't want to go on holiday for two weeks. want to stay at home and watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and the rest of Nanoha and minami-ke and higurashi and all the other anime I still haven't watched. Excluding my two weeks away I only have just over two weeks of holiday left. It's kinda depressing.
Year eleven. Do not want. GCSES. do not want.
still have coursework from yr 10 to finish.
too lazy.
maybe once the novel is done i;ll finish stuff.
cant be asked to type properly.
I'll go to bed now.
oh god the feeling is coming back to my foot and it IS NOT A GOOD THING.
I'm not drunk I swear. I would make less sense if I was.
Maybe you're the drunk one, hm?
My mind doesn't like me any more. I'm cutting it out of my will. I'll leave everything to LIoBS.
Lio.
Lesser Imp Of Brussel Sprouts? Yeah?
Bye guys.
I'll make more sense tomorrow.
Still want to cosplay as haruhi and do the hare hare yukai dance in public. must rope Megan and at least one other person into doing it with me. or it wont work. megans lip is pierced. she'd still make a decent Mikuru.
Maybe Vicky could be Yuki....I don't know anyone that's remotely like Yuki.
gnight.

Reorganisation never sounded so darn fun
For once there is a reason for my snappy blog title. I might be reorgansing my room soon! Yay!
Here is why I am so excited:
I have the smallest room in the house and I have too much stuff. At the moment I barely have room to move in my room. My desk and bookcase are under my bed. I have books under my bed. I have a wardrobe built into my wall that is tiny. My chest of drawers is fit to bursting. I have a corner cupboard that, while space effecient, takes up a lot of room. I can't use the top of it for anything because of the huge dolls house I own (shut up.)
If I get to re-organise, I will have a new big bookcase next to my bed. My dollhouse will be in it. I will have my radio and the internet modem thingy's on top of it. I won't have books under my bed anymore. I will have enough space to put my sax and clarinet up in my room, something I really want to do so that I can practice in peace and quiet.
My dad is against this because the bookcase is currently in his and my mums room holding all of HIS books, magazines and stuff. He thinks there won't be anywhere to put this. He thinks that we can't throw away any of the stuff in the various cupboards of his and my mums room. Also, my mum has a tooth infection and can't really do much right now cause it hurts and the meds make her all lethargic and sleepy.
But she's up for it. She wants their room to be a ROOM not a dumping ground. I've promised to help clear it because I really want to have a room that is a room, not a box. We're going to start boxing up my stuff to move it temporarily tomorrow when my dad isn't here to protest.
And yes, we've measured up and the bookcase will fit perfectly and take up less room than my corner cupboard does now. The only issue is that there is a cupboard thing on the wall where it's going along with a shelf for the modems. They have to be moved. The shelf can go and the cupboard is going over my chest of drawers (which doubles as a dressing table). Then I can finally have somewhere decent to put all the jewellery that I never seem to get around to wearing.
IT WILL BE GREAT. I will have SPACE of some desciption. WOOOOOHOOOO!
I'm almost done with my JulNo, as you can see by the little bean thing. YAY ME. Life is good. I just need to play my instruments more and catch up on my reading and anime and it will be perfect.
It's so early I haven't even gotten fully washed and dressed yet but I don't care.

Gahomgsummmer I MUST DO THINGS!!
So. I must update more. I have a summer full of days in which I shall do NOTHING. So I shall try and blog.
MY WACOM IS HERE. It has been for the past week actually. See what happens when I don't blog? Noone knows about the unimportant stuff in my life anymore!
Anyhow, I'm getting used to it. It's so nice to not go to bed with a painful wrist anymore. I love it to death. It's all shiny and white and....I'll be quiet now.
Gah, I'm still watching the first season of Nanoha. I'm being sloooow with anime for some reason. I'm still reading Yotsuba& and Death Note too. But I'm going to try and make a big dent in my list of anime over the holidays so that...well, so that I get more jokes and have less to distract me next year.
What else?
I'm cleaning my room again. I do that when I'm bored.
Hold on guys. Dinner. BRB
LAWL.
K. Is back now.
Moving on, I love Voltaire again. Must....buy.....CDs...
I was up late last night not only writing but getting distracted by anime merchandise sites. SO MUCH STUFF >.<
Like: Hell Girl necklaces, bags and straw dolls (If you watch the show you'd know why that makes me squeal like a twitard meeting Robert Failson.) Also: Rozen Maiden Rosa Mystica earrings and ring replica. I want the replica ring. It's gold and shiny and squealllllly!!
Yeah. Moving on. I don't know what I'm saying anymore.
Oh yes; Whirled. I was on it all day for the past two days. I've got lots of new friends, trophies and moneys. I made a static avatar, a sign supporting statics (as a lame counter to all of the mean signs hating on them. C'mon! Peace between animation and static, you guys! Statics are avatars too!) I also made some Rozen Maiden dolls and a doll of Amane Misa. By cheating, finding pictures of dolls of them on a site and then making the b/g transparent on photoshop.
Back to Voltaire, methinks. If I ever change my mind about spawning AND learn the guitar then this song is what I shall sing them to sleep with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fDlJsYr0sY
It's called Goodnight Daemonslayer. It's awesome. I would want any potential hellspawn to take it's values to heart. You guys know I only want spawn to make them corrupted yet awesome members of society like me. They would turn out to be anime loving, music obsessed, slightly cynical, crazy individual types that would only make friends with others the same (i.e. Megan's imaginary hellspawn). This is why I would make a terrible mother. Also, most small children I know are brats. Read; my siblings. Also, small children don't like me. Read; Megan's BABY brother tried to shut me out of her house. I can't make them laugh by randomly pulling faces. I don't do smalls. They hate me, I'm uncomfortable around them. It's a good trade off.
I'll stop creeping people out now.
I have a thing for violins, I believe. Any music with violins in I will instinctively try and love. I love violin classical pieces (Like The Devils Trill). I like techno/club music if there are violins in. I am obsessed with Voltaire.
I GOT A PAYCHECK TODAY. From my CreateSpace sales. How awesome? $32.67 I think. How much is that in my money? No clue. But it's money and it'll pay for a Voltaire CD. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant. So bad. Almost Human is out of stock, sadly. I can get the others though. Still trying to decide which I'm lusting after more. Then and Again is a serious album but it has Goodnight Daemonslayer on it. Ooky Spooky has a lot of my favourite songs on but The Devils Bris has When You're Evil, which is the song that got me into Voltaire in the first place. Boo Hoo has a lot of good songs as well, like Future Ex Girlfriend and See You In Hell. I don't really want Banned On Vulcan, cause that's just his Star Trek songs which, while hilarious (look up The Sexy Data Tango and USS Make Shit Up) aren't my favourites. I want Almost Human cause it's adorable, plus the cover has a shirtless, bewinged, shot through with arrows Voltaire and it is by far the sexiest of his album covers.
I should get Ooky Spooky. Reggae Mortis is on there, along with Land of the Dead, Dead, Stuck With You, Cannibal Buffet and a bunch of others/
WAIT. The new album! The Bottom Of The Sea! Has Death Death (Devil Devil Devil Devil Evil Evil Evil Evil) Song and pirate-y songs.
CHOIIIICCCEEE.
I think I'll get Ooky Spooky First.
See ya. I'll be quiet now and write my novel. Or mess around. Whatever.

Uhm.....yes.
So, I fell behind on JulNo. Now I am 400 words ahead, purely because in the midst of a write or die session I realised that they'd forgotten to get the sword they needed to trap the witches after stealing the crystal.
So I had to add that in. Now, as you can see, I am ahead.
Alex, I hope you are doing well. GO TEAM!
On another note, the soundtrack for this novel is all classical music. Purely because at the moment I am finding it easier to write if the music has no words. Otherwise I start singing, get sidetracked and BAM! I'm up at eleven o clock at night trying to squeeze another couple of hundred words out.
I need some kind of plot outline. At the moment there is a bad guy but nobody has really met him or his messenger guy yet. It's just been little boss battles between various groups. Yay. I somehow need to have the Rose become human, them meet the guy Oblivion's Eye is using as a puppet and then have a showdown between the Good Guys (read: The Order Of The Blue Rose (which needs more members, soonish. There are only three right now. Any others are conspiciously absent) The Dragon Army Of Great Britain and possibly the werewolves and time-space travellers)
Speaking of time space travellers. They need a new collective name. It's grating to read 'the time-space travellers again and again and again. Any ideas?
Oblivion's Eye also needs a different name. Again; any ideas?
What else?
Thorpe Park on Tuesday. I still have to finish my IT coursework, print off one bit of English and finish another. Need to finish the last history coursework question. Need Miss Field to help me with refining my composition or It'll be a rush job at the end of year 11.
Fun times, yo.
I now have all of the Hannibal films. I've watched Red Dragon. That was pretty good. Got to watch the other three at some point. Also have a lot of anime lined up. Still on ep 8 of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. There are three seasons.
SO much to do.
Most of it irrelevant.
I ordered a wacom tablet finally, so when it arrives (should be next week) there should be ARTAGE. Which will be awesome. And maybe then I'll actually, y'know, update my comic at some point. And not just with badly drawn MS paint pictures that are the product of waste of time lessons.
Oh yeah! I sent fanmail to Doodle Diaries (an awesome comic I read) during some IT lesson or other and they not only replied, which was awesome, but they mentioned me in the news bit at the top of the comic page. How cool is that?
See you guys. The computer is burning me. Need to sleep....that would be nice but it's only 6pm.
bye.
Sam

Am I good or what? I have done more than that today, though. I'm on 20,099. GODDAMMIT!
Ah well. I love write or die. Heh, I didn't really know what to do so I....kinda sorta maybe blew up the museum where the good guys have their base. Whoops. Oh well, it gave Elsie a chance to be heroic and stuff.
By the way, Alex I loves you, don't be all sad and stuff, you are the amazingness.
Kay?
Also, I may be developing a slight obsession with japanese music. It just sounds so cool! I don't know what they're saying but it sounds awesome!
That said, I bid you good night.
Time...line? Oh, time isn't made out of lines. It is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round.
Go watch RedvsBlue. It is made of awesome.
Anyways....I just now scratched myself pretty hard whilst trying to get dressed - I suck.
I'm about 300 words behind on my novel.
Uhm, I have to leave the house in half an hour or less and I haven't got shoes on or cleaned my teeth yet.
I'm instead watching youtube videos. Speaking of which:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rygSBH-cIDQ - The Ultimate Yaoi Fangirl Song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMQmTIp6SRk - Alice Human Sacrifice - this song and video will screw with your head. So much.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGMO1ko5EuM - Wide Knowledge Of The Late, Madness - this will also mess with your head.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPwDfCUSBhw - Love is War - my favourite Hatsune Miku song.
Kay, I'm off now.

I have learned that I should probably never sing in Japanese ever again
And I just found out it's my brothers birthday tomorrow.
I suck.
I do have a present and card for him. I just forgot when his birthday actually was.
I've been practicing singing in Japanese. I'm getting good at the pronunciations. Now I just have to learn how to read kanji/hiragana/katakana
In other words - actual Japanese, not romaji.
I'm such a freak. Megan is now referred to as Megan-chan, I say ohayho not hello.
WANNABEEEEE
Anyways. What was I talking about?
I need to update the JulNoWriMo thing after this post - I'm at over 10,000 words.
I went shopping on Saturday - I now have £40.00 sandals and a £20.00 dress. OMGWTFBBQ. That's a lot. I also got a replacement for the flesh-colour pencil I lost and coloured part of my drawing with it. One of the drawings I did using reference, I might add. Reference is win. I will use it more.
I need to buy that graphics tablet already. I have the money, I just haven't gotten around to it. I need to update links on my sidebar thingy. I need to let you guys see my singsnap profile
:3
Then you can hear my voice omgforrealz.
I guess I'll see y'all later.
Sam.

no title for you
So, I helped out at the Birch Hill fete today. We ran the bottle tombola, I got to look around my old school, I ate some delicious apple cake, shared cotton candy with Alex, joined up to do linedancing on a Friday night aaaand some other stuff.
Lame summary is lame.
I had the last clarinet choir of this term today. We did sight reading for fun. We played a version of the drunken sailor at about a million miles an hour. I could do....some of it. We also played two different samba pieces (I know, samba on the clarinet, wtf, right?). The second one was easier. THEN we payed The Magic Flute. Do you know it? You should. I was on part four, which was actually surprisingly fun and easy. I pity the people playing part one with Ed (who is leaving, now, so we're all screwed next term). It's fast but fun. I think those are the pieces were going to learn next term. That should be interesting.
I'm gonna try and practice loads over the summer. Firstly so that I can pass my Grade 5 exam at Christmas and secondly so that I fail less at hard pieces.
Anyhow. Apple cake. It's like apple crumble but in cake form. I LOVES IT.
I'm going shopping tomorrow. I want to get skirts and shorts and dresses and sandals and tops and a new flesh coloured pencil cause I lost mine and a new watch cause mine broke twice.
Oh yeah, at the fete I got a bunch of stuff. I got about 8 CDs (Billy Talent, Bowling For Soup, Taking Back Sunday, Hellogoodye, Yellowcard, From First To Last, Rooster and a two CD album that's like the rock version of the Now! Cds.) and Final Fantasy; Advent Children on DVD. For a fiver. WIN.
My sister has annoyed me. She found out about me and mother joining line dancing and was like 'I WANNA GO TOO!'
This is why I can't have nice things.
I wanted a dorky thing to do by myself. Now she's coming. I don't know why but her instantly wanting to do it just pissed me off for some reason. Grrr. The only thing to do is be better than her. But it's going to make it suck cause the whole time I'll have to be perfect cause if I do it wrong I GURANTEE you she'll rub it in my face. If I can't do something she can she just rubs it in. I'm fairly sure that I don't do that to her.
GODDAMMIT.
I have to go write now. Must....reach....target....and....go further....must....stay ahead......arrghghggh.
I just wanna watch anime. -pout-
I did some pretty good sketches today. I did two and used some poses on DeviantArt to reference them from. The first came out better than the second. My art is so much better if I have reference.
Seeya laters.

So, now that I have, I am COMPELLED BY THE POWER OF CEILING CAT to say hi to Lexi!
LEXI. Hallo!
This is a reply all smushed up to what I probably would have said had I actually remembered to set comment alerts up.
OMGAzumangaDaioh FELLOWFAN yaywin REPO IS AWESOME. Haruhi is made of win.

Any character I ever made ever. But usually the first three.
Remember Lio, anyone? the Lesser Imp of Brussels Sprouts?

ROZEN MAIDEN TIME GAIZ

On a side note, I do believe that Megan could class as moe if she weren't so...uhm.....violent? Cause she's clumsy, cute, wears glasses, has a chest that could match up to Mikurus....but her personality is a combination of Konata and Kagime
In my opinion.
Anyways. I'll stop poisoning the interwebs with my crazy OH WAIT NOT YET
Me an' Connor sabotaged Simons IT work by typing random internet memes, anime junk and 4chan stuff. Y'know:

Buying Zydrate from an unlicensed source is illegal
I. Am. A. Repo. Junkie.
first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
GIMME MOAAARRRRR.
Anyways. I discovered this wonderful fact after this happened:
I was getting all 'eguughigh' just sitting in my room doing nothing but look at fanfic, go on DA and listen to Repo! songs.
So I went out (supposedly to take photos)
There were lots of people at South Hill. Do not want.
So after a while I went to the park-in-the-woods-that-isnt-really-in-the-woods-but-oh-well. I was on the swings, listening to Repo over and over again. I was singing at some point, and I think I creeped out these two guys who were playing basketball there. Probably when I was singing 21st century cure and did the whole 'it's my job to steal and rob...GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEEEEEEEEEESSSS!' thing. lawl.
Then I realised I was twitching out over Repo and went home listening to Draconian and that opening song from Lucky Star.
But I am still addicted to Repo!
And also to Grilotastic fanfics.
Oh! Made up quote that someone needs to make a banner/icon for:
"Being a Grilo fan means thinking that Zydrate Anatomy = Best. First. Date. EVER"
Indeed it does.
Wouldn't it be cool to have the 'GRAAAAVESSS!' part of 21st century cure as your ringtone? You'd just be sitting on the bus or something and then you get a call. Instead of Nokia's trademark ringtone you make all the other people jump when the phone goes 'GRAAAAAAAAAAAVEEEEEEEEESSS!'
Am I the only one who thinks that would be made of win?
Probably.
Also: I am goth today. And was yesterday. It is fun to dress like this. I need more skirts though. And some black shorts so I can be a summer!goth and have freakin' pockets. Or maybe I should just not be goth at all. I dunno..
On another note; I found my halloween makeup and used it for a MYOWNFACEFUCKYES photoshoot with my new camera. It was pretty fun. I might post some of the pics, I might not. Probably not though. There is a before and after version of one on my DeviantArt though.
Why am I feeling so bored?
There are 23 Guitar Hero fanfics. Go to ff.net, look under games where guitar hero is listed and then see the number in brackets confirm this.
Still no runemarks fanfic.
Goddammit, back to my other fandoms then.
Hmmm, I never listed which fandoms I read, did I? INFLICTION TIME.
I read:
Maximum Ride
Labyrinth
Twilight (rarely, though)
Tithe
Repo! The Genetic Opera
Yeah, that's my fangirlishness about fanfic broken down so that you can ridicule me later in life.
Fuck it, I'm going to go and re-read Grilo fics until someone posts something new.
What, you didn't think I was actually going to write stuff for myself did you?
side note: in Zydrate Anatomy, how many of the Z-addicts do you think became Z-addicts simply because they wanted Graverobber to put a gun against their anatomy? (Innuendo entirely intentional)
10/9
REPOJOKEREPOJOKREPOJOKEREPOJOKE!
I downloaded Bloodsuckers last night. FINALLY, I HAVE IT. It's a really great film. All about people who hunt evil space vampires. There's blood, gore, violence and vampire mind sex.
Ponder that whilst I dissappear leaving you with all this weirdness.
GOODBYE
-attempts graverobbers backofatruck swirly hand bow-
-fails-

GOODBYE

....
I got a new camera. For my novel. I am most pleased. Photo taking is good. Video taking is good. Can't work the microphone yet.
Too bored to be more excited.
Watching The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya right now. It's supposed to be good and it's pretty awesome so far (about 5/6 eps in)
Sam.

Cooking is so fun, cooking is so fun, now it's time to take a break and see what we have done!
Ah, Chiyo-chan. An endless source of ten-year-old-child-prodigy amusement.
And if you have now idea what I'm talking about, then you should watch Azumanga Daoih.
Heeeey, you guys! I'm blogging after my shorter-than-usual break.
For at least two days, though, I have AN ACTUAL REASON.
I have been sick. Bleghishly so. On Saturday I got up and was all aooohhhh, crappy headaccchhhe, ppiiiiiilllllss.
And also fever.
And then chills whilst having a high temperature BUT I WENT TO THE RP AT JACKS HOUSE ANYWAY. Cause I'm a hardcore nerd like that.
Oh yes.
Then on Sunday I had THE HEADACHE TO END ALL HEADACHES (overabuse of capslock is a sick-person privilege) It sucked ASSS. So I had uber-painkillers and slept most of the day. Over Saturday and Sunday I watched most of Azumanga Daioh. It cheered me up. I finished watching Darker Than Black before that though. I had to watch part of it in subs, which didn't bug me as much as I thought it would.
Moving on, I took the day off today, to recover properly. Cause this morning I was like
'gah, headache, I'll be fine.'
then
'gah, why is it so hot?'
'dude, it's cold'
'really? ah shitake mushrooms'
But hopefully I'll be aaaaaalll better tomorrow, so that I can play catch up with the History coursework and also get to skip sciene fifth period for choir. Miss Field calls it School Chorus, but I call it choir. If it aint broken don't fix it.
Why did that last sentence come out in Osaka's voice? Man, I've been watching too much anime.
I was looking up alibinism before this post. Mainly cause I was considering having a character be albino. It turns out that albinism is really interesting to read about. Go look it up. It's all science-y but it interested me.
Yay, genetic conditions!
Also: hooray, I've got two more modules this month! One maths, one science. Funfunfun.
But next month I have the comicon and possibly the nerdfighter gathering with Megan to look forwards to. Guess who's gonna be at comicon? THAT GUY WHOSE NAME I CANT REMEMBER WHO PLAYS MOHINDER FREAKING SURESH FROM HEROES!!!!
F*CKING WIN!
In other news: ITV have cancelled Primeval in favour of their after-the-watershed shows because the SFX cost too much.
And the series that just finished? Ayup. Ended on a cliffhanger. Hoo boy will there be a lot of compaints.
More news: I want a graphics tablet, I'm procrastinating on fanfic again, the novel I'm working on isn't one that people would necessarily like or the one I'd planned to write next
YAY LIFE!
Dun worry though, guys. It's apples.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT EVEN MEANS OR WHY I'VE STARTED SAYING ITTTTTTT

Repo & Fanfic
Yayzorz.
On Saturday, I stayed up till 2am writing a slightly lemony Max Ride crackfic that started out as me having a rant with Max and Fang because I was deliriously bored.
Then I wrote the semi-lemon
Lemon slice
Lemon juice
Thing
Anyways, I'm working on a new chapter, cause crackfic is fun when you can't be bothered to write proper fanfic and want to make people giggle anyway.
CRC is going well - muchos reviews, almost 200 I think.
I WATCHED REPO ON SUNDAY
IT IS SO FULL OF WIN
With the thing and the organs and the singing and the goth-ness and the graverobber and the dying and the coolness
AWESOME. TIMES PIE.
Yes, that kind of pie.
I'm strange.
On another note - I'm beginning to not like the username I've had for so many things for so long.
Yeah, you know, the penname? Luci de Monica? Yeah. I wish I didn't have it. Because...well....I dunno, it just bugs me now, you know?
But I can't think what to change it to.
I'll ask my reviewers next chapter.
Speaking of reviewers. DAMMIT YOU GUYS PAY ATTENTION TO THE A/N's WOULDYA? I put questions and news and stuff in there. They're important. I always read them. You should too.
Anyways, if they answer the question, there may be a fanfic blog appearing.
Oh yeah; Levi, I was browsing MR fanfics the other day and your one came up (the one with the cookies and stuff?) I went: 'oh, squee, that's Levis fanfic! yayz!'
Sam.
Who will not be staying up until midnight again.
Also; I drew Sexy!Max last night to go with my crackfic.
I shall scan at somepoint

Mirror Mirror OMG PROOF
My proof copy of Mirror Mirror just arrived from CreateSpace!
YESSSSSSSSS!
It's so smooth and shiny and pretty and has the cover I designed and and and and YAAAAAYYY!
I want to edit the book so much more, but I don't think I will. It'll be good to have it like this.
Imma leave it by my laptop all the time when I'm writing so that when I get writers block or lose the will to write I can just look at it and go 'well, actually, I can do this and I can do it properly.'
SQQQQUUUUEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLL!!!

Alice
Okay, my idea-in-progress that's been developing over the last week or so has just gone BLARGHAlALALA! and made me write part of it.
I'm gonna post it so I can see if anyone likes it. The story is called Alice, and the main character (the one telling the story) is called Sarah. I won't explain it all - that would take too long - so here's the bit I wrote.
EXPOSITION MANIA!!!111!!eleven!!
When I came to I was lying on a cold, damp stone floor. I sat up, shivering. That was when I realised, as I tried to wrap my arms around myself, that my hands were manacled to the wall. I pulled and the chains holding me prisoner rattled. They were only just long enough for me to hold my arms out in front of me. I wriggled myself into a sitting position. My legs were free. I looked around. Wherever I was was very dark. Almost too dark to see anything, but I could just about make out the outline of a door and some stairs leading down from it. I stared down at the floor, and then switched my gaze to the heavy metal cuffs on my wrists.
“Oh, you woke up,” a soft, light voice said. I looked up sharply. The door had opened and standing at the top of the stairs, holding a candle, was Alice.
“Alice…” I said in disbelief. “Alice, why?”
“Why what?” she said, closing the door and coming down the stairs. Her feet were bare and very pale in the candle light.
“Why did you bring me here and chain me up?” I asked, trying to keep my voice calm. She looked thoughtful for a moment and then her face resumed it’s usual seriousness.
“Little girls who ask why are always punished,” she said. “But maybe you don’t have to be…not yet. Sometimes I had to wait.”
“What are you talking about Alice?” I said, my voice rising. She didn’t acknowledge me. “Alice! Why are you doing this to me!”
She sighed a little and went up the steps to sit about half way down. She tucked her legs to the side, placed the candle next to her on the step and folded her hands in her lap. She looked so harmless.
“Should I tell you?” she said, half to herself. “But then you might tell on me. That wouldn’t be any good.”
“Alice, just let me go,” I said, pleading, “Just let me go now, and I promise I won’t tell a soul what you did. I won’t tell anyone you abducted me, I’ll just say I went to your house on my own, I swear. You won’t get in trouble.”
“But you will tell,” Alice said sadly, looking up at me. “You say you won’t but you will. I know what you’re like.”
“You don’t know me at all, though!” I cried. “I never spoke to you before!”
“I know you though,” she said, “You’re like me if I wasn’t like me.” I frowned, confused.
“That doesn’t make any sense.”
“It does. If I wasn’t like I am, then I’d be like you. So, you’re me if I hadn’t become me.”
“Alice,” I said quietly, “Just tell me what’s going on. If you’d just explain why you’re doing this….”
“Okay,” she said and her voice was so…I don’t know how to describe it. It was as though she were both devastated and relieved. In pain and the happiest she’d ever been. She locked her eyes with mine as she began to speak.
“I am Alice Mayfair and I am fourteen years old. I was born on May the first in 1995,” I knew this already but I didn’t interrupt. I was too busy trying to figure out how I could use the time she took to tell her life story to somehow get out of here.
“My parents are Peter and Felicity Mayfair. You’ve never met them, so I’ll describe them to you. Peter is a big man and he has hair blonder than yours. Felicity is tall and thin, like me, and has hair like mine as well. Do they sound normal to you, Sarah?”
I nodded – anything to keep her happy.
“You’re wrong, of course. But then, so was everyone. So is everyone. They look normal, people think, so they must be normal. They aren’t.” Her expression darkened – a shadow passing across her face, turning it from pretty to ugly in an awful transition.
“They’re the most hateful parents anyone could have. I love them though,” her face returned to normal. “I love them more than anyone in the world. Of course I do. You want to know why I’m doing this though.” She fidgeted with her dress.
“I’m not very good at telling stories. Mother said that stories are like lies and lies are the worst thing in the world apart from awful, evil little girls that don’t deserve air. That’s me, you know,” she paused, blinking slowly for a few moments that dragged on and on.
“Mother and father hate religion as well as stories and lies and me,” Alice said, “They tell me all the time why it’s bad. It’s just fairy stories about pretend men and women so that people can feel good about bad things and bad about good things. Gods broke the world.
“Anyway, shall I really start to explain to you properly now then? Don’t answer, I shall have to say this all at once, or I’ll never say it at all, and then you’ll have to be punished for stopping me.” She took a deep breath, as though steeling herself. Then she explained to me why she had chained me up.
“It started when I was little. They didn’t start until I was four, though. I had four years of innocence, which I am thankful for every single day. The first ritual wasn’t that bad. They only tied me to my bed and said that if I could last the day without food, water, or using the bathroom, then I would be deserving of life. I made it. For a week after that I was Good – with a capital ‘G’. Then the week finished and I was Evil again. So they tied me down again. They did this every week until I turned five. Then my uncle and aunty came to stay with us. They said that the number five was a wicked number, and I had to have the wickedness beaten out of me or I would be Evil forever. This time when they tied me down they hit me with knotted rope. Then I could be Good for months at a time! I didn’t want to be Evil, Sarah. I wanted to be Good. So I never read books and I never listened to songs with Evil words and I never watched TV or saw a film. For five years I never did anything that the other children did. Of course, once I started school then Evil had to be beaten out of me at least every other day. They were teaching me Evil but I had to know about it so that I could keep it away from me. I didn’t just become an outcast when I came to secondary school. I’ve been alone my whole life.
“But I need to go back a bit, so I can tell you about the years from being five years old to being ten years old. When I was six they started with the knives. They would tie me down, beat my arms and legs with knotted rope and then leave me for a while. Then they would return and cut by the bruises to let the Evil out. The Evil was what made my skin go black and blue. If I was Good then the ropes wouldn’t have left a mark, you see.
“When I turned seven they couldn’t tie me to the bed anymore – I didn’t fit in that babies cot now. So they built this room. Those chains you’re in used to only ever go on my arms. Every week at the very least mother, father, aunty and uncle would bring me down here and chain me up. Then they would leave me in the darkness for a long time. Sometimes father or uncle would sneak down when mother and aunty went out and they would pleasure themselves with me. Once father was too rough and my legs bent back and back until one of them broke. I didn’t scream. I cried but I didn’t scream. If I’d have screamed then the Evil would have had to have been cut out of me again.” Alice stood up and came over to me.
“Are you beginning to understand?” she asked, bending very close to my face. Then she stood back and slid her dress off of her shoulder and dropped it to the floor. I stared in shock.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
Alice went back over to the stairs, picked up the candle and walked along the walls. As she did so she lit some candles there that I hadn’t seen and soon the room was flooded with light. Then she came back over to me. Her body was tall, slim and perfect, and she wore plain white underwear that neither concealed all nor bared all. Her skin was pale and covered in scars and bruises and burns. I gaped at the sight. She turned slowly in front of me, letting me see all of her injuries. All down her back there were horizontal scars and scabs, some bleeding a little, some old and puckered. At the tops of her legs there were little cuts and bruises everywhere. On her stomach there were burn marks that clearly spelled out the words ‘EVIL LEAVE THIS GIRL.’ There were strange symbols and letters cut into the tops of her breasts as well. These must have been recent, as they were formed from thick, dark scabs. Alice let me take this all in for a while, and then put her dress back on, brushing down the skirt. Then she went and sat back on the stairs, as though nothing was wrong.
“They did this all the time,” she said, continuing her story, “I told you that father and uncle pleasured themselves with me didn’t I? Yes, yes I did. But what they didn’t know was the mother and aunty did as well. They brought men and women I had never seen before down and made them do things to me whilst aunty and mother did things to them. They were paid for it as well.
“This continued until I was ten. When I was ten the men and women came less often. But because of what they had done, I wasn’t Good anymore. Mother told me that if I had been Good, then Goodness wouldn’t have allowed the men and women to touch me. I was Evil though, so they could, and because I was Evil I had to perform rituals with them to keep it at bay so I wouldn’t hurt anyone. Every single day from when I was ten up until I was thirteen I followed the ritual with mother and father. First I had to catch uncle’s blood as father drew it from him. Uncle didn’t like the ritual, but then, he was never allowed to leave the cellar until he died after it began. Then aunty would take my dress and underwear and pour the blood on me. After it had dried, they would burn my front to drive the Evil back and then cut my back to catch it as it ran.
“After they had caught the evil they would pour it away. Father, mother and aunty would go upstairs then and leave me for hours. Later they would come and wash the blood off of me with icy cold water and let me go to bed. When school finished the next day, they would do it again. Can you imagine it, Sarah? Can you imagine how that would feel?”
I'm gonna post it so I can see if anyone likes it. The story is called Alice, and the main character (the one telling the story) is called Sarah. I won't explain it all - that would take too long - so here's the bit I wrote.

Hows that? Do you think that all those things are enough to make a girl go completely phsyco, kidnap the new girl and possibly kill her parents later? I think it's enough to be honest.
Ah, Alice is crazy but I like her as a character. She's gone insane really, but she holds it together and acts rational but is still creepy as fuck. I was thinking about her last night and she scares the bejeezus out of me.

Did some kind of bomb hit?
No, I just decided to clean my room.
It always gets worse before it gets anywhere near better. I'm gonna post this really quick, so I can finish up on laptop stuff for a while and tidy some more before I got to bed.
Hah, there's junk of my floor, on the ladder to my bed, over my desk, on my cupboards...and that's just the stuff that I'm tidying now.
After sorting out my junk, I have to sort out other stuff, like reorganise my books and sort out clothes and jewelry and all kinds of stuff.
Sam.
Oh yes, hopefully I will be getting a tablet soon, and possibly a webcam as well. If I get a webcam, I will most likely attempt to make videos that are made of mostly fail, I should imagine.
I want a video camera :(
Or at the very least a decent camera.
Signing off again.

Death Note, Apple, Tablets and Nose Pressure
First order of business.
Went to Simons with Alex and Megan today. It was pretty awesome. We watched a Death Note movie in Japanese with English subtitles. It was really good, and true to the manga, which I liked. The only issue is that dramatic anime/manga shots don't work too well in live action movies, and some of the camera work was a little dodgy. But the acting was good, the render of Ryuk was amazing and for a live action film of a manga, it was pretty damn awesome.
Second.
Apple. Gah! Simon has and Apple Mac of awesome and I want it. But I am poor and have no room in my room for such a thing, so. I will have to remain in jealous awe until I move out. Which won't be for a while.
Third.
Tablets. Graphics ones. I have a link to where I can buy one on Amazon, so I will hopefully get one before the summer holidays. I think I can manage that.
Nose pressure. For some reason there is pressure in my nose that is not nice. It's most likely my sinuses again, since I just had a cold recently.
Moooving on. I also need a new actual camera and a webcam or a video camera. All three would be nice.
Ah yes. I also ordered my free proof copy from CreateSpace today. Yay! It'll be here by, like, June 26. Dammit, I wanted to have time to buy an actual copy for a certain someone by June freaking 7th. Damn you international shipping.
Also damn my lack of a debit card of any kind. I need to buy more books and CDs and order tablets from Amazon but I CANT because I lack any means of internet banking other than just looking at the pretty numbers on my online bank account. MADE OF SUCK AND FAIL.
Tomorrow I will be thoroughly cleaning my room. And I mean thoroughly. That means getting a huge bag or box, and putting all my old junk that I don't want in it, and giving it to charity, because it's the kind of junk that ebay will NEVER WANT. Ever.
So yeah. That's what's going on with me at the moment.

Ooooops
Have you ever just grabbed a drink from the fridge, drunk half of it and THEN looked at the label? No? Yes? Well, I just did. Major oops, cause what I thought was D&B light was ACTUALLY Ben Shaws Bitter Shandy.
Instead of a fizzy drink slightly healthier than coke, I drank a can of part alcoholic beverageness. Fail. So what did I do? I drank the rest of it - hey, I like shandy! Then I realised that I couldn't exactly leave the can in my room like I usually do, or throw it in my bin - someone would realise and I'd get told off.
So, in all my wisdom I...threw the can out of the window. I aimed for some bushes but it hit the roof of my dads car and bounced off. Total OHSHIT moment. So, I went down and, under the pretense of throwing away the papers that hadn't been delivered, managed to pick it up and put in the bin that will collected either tonight or tomorrow.
PERFECT CRIME!
Hopefully my mum won't notice that there's one less can of her shandy in the fridge....O.o
Sam.
I AM NOT DRUNK, by the way. DONT SAY A WORD

What I want to be
I was making an image for the book cover for my novel, Mirror Mirror the other day. I could have just picked a generic one from CreateSpace's list, but I wanted one that reflected my book a bit more (the pun was unintentional, I swear!)
Whilst I was doing that, and swearing at my laptop because I kept doing it wrong, I realised something. Goddamit making book covers is fun! That made me think about what I want to potentially do for a job. For the longest time I've been making vague allusions about what I maybe want to be. I want to be a writer - possible, but not a certainty or the most stable of careers. I want to be an artist - again, not the most certain job or most stable career ever. And there are so many things that you can do and be an artist.
That was why making book covers made me think about that. I want to do that for a job. I want to be able to make covers for peoples books for a living. I mean, it kinda combines my two loves - books and art. Plus, I'd probably get to read parts of new books, too ;)
Do you think that's a possible career goal for me? I mean it's either that or fail miserably at being an author/artist and work at Tesco.
I've been really thinking about it and it's something I definitely want to consider doing as an actual job. I just need to research it and find out how to break into that career line. What do you guys think? Should I go for it? I want to. I think it's something I could be good at and have fun doing. I have an article about cover design somewhere, I need to dig that out and read it.

Favourite Books
Favourites. In about me sections on profile pages they always have them. Favourite books, movies, music....yadda yadda yadda.
For some reason in favourite books I always put something like this:
Maximum Ride, Skulduggery Pleasant, Vampire Chronicles, Twilight series, Demonata, Stephen King & more!
Why do I do that? There are books I love that never get on there. It's like I'm trying to be pretentious and impress people (again with that. Why do I do that so much?)
I should put:
The redemption of althalus, The man with the golden torc, i lucifer, Skulduggery Pleasant, Maximum Ride, Demonata, Stephen King & more!
See, Twilight shouldn't be on there. Don't get me wrong, I think it's an okay series, and I own all the books and I admit, for a time, I was as fangirlish as they come, only minus the undying love for the male leads. But why do I keep listing it when I only read it because it's easy to read? It's like...the Disney Channel of books. The series is written in an okay style, and it's easy to read, like I said. But when you look closely it's easy to pick holes in. If you've ever seen a Disney Channel show, you'll understand my analysis.
Moving on. I don't get why I don't list books that I've read and loved time and again at the top of my list. The Redemption of Althalus for example. I've read that book about four times now, which is impressive, considering how long it is. The book is practically nothing more than one long conversation - hardly a page goes by without a long speech. But despite that, I love it to bits. THe characters are real, with flaws and wonderful personalities. The relationship bewtween Althalus the theif and Dweia the Goddess for example? Perfect. Their conversations and interactions are amazing and loving without having to cross into the 'I love you, now let's make out for the readers' type of relationship. God, I love that book.
Another one - i, lucifer. It's a novel about the devil getting a shot at redemption by taking over the body of a human about to commit suicide. It's told in the first person. I've read it two/three times and I still think it's one of the best books I've read. It takes a concept that's been done - god and the devil - and re-does it in a way that makes you like the devil as a main character, but doesn't make him the sexylicious bad boy that really wants to be good. The body he takes over is NOT the winner of a beauty contest. He's utterly imperfect. The devil spends the whole book making a book and then a movie about his life story, drinking, taking drugs and having sex. He acts like you would expect lucifer to - like an utter bastard, but a slightly charming bastard. He's the guy you can so easily hate, but he'd only like you all the more. It's an amazing book, but I never list it on my favourites. I should. I really, really should.
Then there's The Man With The Golden Torc. I've read that book three times, and I've read the sequel and I really want to read the third book. It's another 'modern fantasy book'. It combines James Bond-esque secret agents with fantasy and secret societies and conspiracy theories and then tosses in every creature under the sun. It's told in the first person, and has so many awesome jokes that you can laugh at every single time. Eddied Drood - the hero - is amazing. He just wants to do what's right and doesn't want to kill or hurt anyone who doesn't have to be. Simon Greens characterisation of him is superb. And it's another book with a great relationship in it. Eddie and his enemy-turned-lover Molly Metcalf. In the first book they get together at the end. They never saw it coming, though everyone else did. The way they realised they cared about each other was so cool.
There, that's three book summaries. But why do I never seem to list these books? Maybe because I'm lazy, and the original ones I listed are on the bookshelves to the front and side of me. I dunno. I just wanted to blog this, I guess.

It's a new day, it's a new plan
Okay, guys. Hi. I guess I need to actually comment a bunch of people and tell them I've moved.
I never thought I'd do it - actually make a whole new blog for myself. I always said that I'd stay in the same place, leave all the new and old, good and bad together. Just so I could look back and see how much I'd changed. But I can't. I haven't been posting at all recently, though I've had plenty of oppurtunity to. Now that I am, I can feel how easy it is to do so.
Hi Levi, if you're reading this. So far you're the only person I've given the address to. Simply because I was checking your blog whilst I was making my new one.
I don't know what things'll be like here. Probably the same.
Oh yes, I also deleted my writing blog and the BOA one. Because I can't even update one blog, let alone three.
Well, this is a first post, and if anyone comes here then they might be reading this without ever having read the old blog, so, I guess I'll introduce myself for those people.
My pen name is Luci de Monica, my real name is Sam.
I'm fifteen
I'm female (omigod no way, right? No girls on the internet and all that)
I'm pretty much the same as a lot of other 15 year old girls. I like to read, listen to music, write and draw. I obsess over stuff, and I started getting into anime a couple of months ago, but I've been reading manga for longer.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist.
I hate starting new things after doing one thing like it for ages, which is why it's taken me so long to make a new blog.
I'm a semi-practising pagan still hunting for a path, but I hope that my religion won't get in the way of any potential friendships.
I can get annoyed easily and have mood swings like a lot of people.
I will be self-publishing my first novel soon, though I wish I had longer to perfect it.
If I haven't scared off any new readers yet, then hi. I'm Luci...no, wait. There's something I have to say.
On this blog, I will be calling myself by my real name. I am Sam. I'm not going to post stuff to try and impress people any more - nobody probably noticed on my old blog, but I was writing in a way that would make people think I was funny and cool. I'm not very funny and I'm not that cool.
I've decided to try and accept that. People may argue about both of those, but I would ask you not to. It's something I've decided for myself. And that's who I want to be now - myself. I've had realisations in little bursts about my personality and stuff.
(yes, this is going to be a looong post, so sit down comfortably)
First off. I'm not confident, I've just ceased to care what others think about me.
People judge me on my looks. This was proved when I went out dressed the most gothic I ever have been - short black&red ruffled lacy type skirt, fishnet tights, midriff showing, long sleeved top, eyeliner, lace up boots....I had so many dirty looks thrown my way it was a wonder I didn't need a shower afterwards. If I'd been wearing jeans and a shirt, people wouldn't have given me a second glance.
I don't care about this. I still want people to lable me though. Which is selfish and dumb. I want to dress in a way that people I think are cool will look at me and go 'that girl looks cool!'
I'm tired of that. I want to find out who I am and then just be that person. The people who matter will know and that's all that counts.
Another realisation - I am a very small person in the grand scheme of things.
Another - my problems may not be bigger or more horrible than someone elses but they still matter to me.
And another - I don't need to be any kind of famous to be happy. I don't need a hundered thousand page views on DeviantArt, I don't need thousands of reviewers on FanFiction or Fictionpress, I don't need a million subscribers on YouTube. Sure, I want them. It would be nice to have recognition. But I don't need them to be happy. I can be happy just doing my own little thing.
That's it for this post. I haven't blogged in so long that I have a least another two posts I want to do today.
So, hi to any new people, hello to old viewers.
Sam.
I never thought I'd do it - actually make a whole new blog for myself. I always said that I'd stay in the same place, leave all the new and old, good and bad together. That's it for this post. I haven't blogged in so long that I have a least another two posts I want to do today.
So, hi to any new people, hello to old viewers.
Sam.
